Montreal, March 29, 2025
Regarding incalls, I've officially ended the test I was doing in February and March with a shared location in Saint-Henri. I was questioning this option because the location isn't ideal for my target audience, it's far from my home, and it's not as popular as it should be to be profitable (I was paying monthly).

I plan to use other incall options, like renting a hotel room from time to time. I've done this once and really liked it.

I might also find and try another location that's easier for me to access, and that's payable by the hour. But if that's the case, it will only be offered to clients I've already met at least once. I'll prioritize reliability and security, since it's at my expense.
To be continued!

Montreal, March 9, 2025

After 7 years with companionship as my only income, at the end of March 2025, I start a new part-time regular job 60km North of Montreal Downtown. My companion schedule is already reflecting this change. On the days I'll be working (it's a 8 to 4 office schedule), I won't be available for meetings in the evening because my job is too far from Montreal Downtown and I also don’t live in Montreal.
Here are some questions I received in privately, that I prefer to answer publicly to avoid overload.

AM I RETIRING?

No, I am not retiring because of my new part-time job, but yes I have to re-prioritize my companionship. As you know, being a companion has never been my only daily occupation. Adding a part-time job is an essential choice in my favor for my personal and professional life. This job will therefore be prioritized. For years, I have given you all my flexibility and adaptability as a companion. Now, I have to transfer some of this flexibility elsewhere.

Some things may no longer be possible, some things will change and others will not. All these adaptations help me stay in business and delay my retirement. Keep in mind that I love being Roxanne. I want to continue, but I am getting older and I want to continue meeting people who match who I am and with what I can offer. I want to return to a more stable life, slowly but surely. My choices and options will reflect this throughout this reorientation.

I may not retire now, but yes, it will happen one day. Every change I make in my life right now is not to retire, but to delay it. I need to make some changes for personal reasons. And when I am ready to retire, it will be said often, clearly, loudly, and in advance. Don’t worry!

For now, very little is changing, other than my availability. I can continue to meet as I normally do. As the year progresses, as I adjust to this new challenge, I will reevaluate a few things and adjust as needed. Keep in mind that the changes made will always be made to ensure that I delay retirement.

Potentially, it might affect or might not:
-
The durations
-
The donations
-
The tours
-
The duos
-
The schedules
-
The booking conditions
-
The incall

THEN WHAT IS GOING TO CHANGE?

Mostly, it’s my availability that will be reduced. I won’t be able to plan my schedule more than a month in advance, because my schedule at my new job won’t be the same every week. And I’ll know my schedule about a month in advance.

I won’t be able to do as many tours as I did in the last 24 months, now that I have a part-time job (I’ve been lucky enough to visit Ottawa 5 times, Burlington once, and Halifax once). Touring was a new part of my companion offering. Historically, I’ve never been able to do it due to my commitments and busyness. Over the last 24 months, I’ve had a lot of flexibility to tour. I’ve enjoyed it. But it’s a lot of logistics and costs.

I may still be able to do 2-3 tours a year, but I also want to vary the locations in Canada. Ottawa, Halifax, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver are on my list, but the further and more expensive they are, the harder it is for me to fit them into my schedule. My tours will be planned around my work, my appointments in Montreal and my personal life, maximum 3 to 4 weeks in advance. My tours will be short, between 1 and 3 nights, depending on the location and my other commitments.

I am currently questioning the incall I've tested for the last few weeks, it's not ideal for my audience, it's attracts the wrong audience for me, it's far from where I live and it's not as popular as it should to make this profitable. I may cancel that current option I have, and may offer some other incall ways, like renting a hotel room sometimes.

For the rest, we will see as we go along if necessary.

HOW TO STAY UPDATED?

As my service offering may change over the coming months, the best way to find out about updates is to visit my website regularily.
So please do not send me individual emails asking for information that is on my site. When I will want to validate information, mention something special or announce a change, I will post on my website, on X and on Bluesky.
